Pharmacy Technician
Columbus Springs East Hospital
Columbus, Ohio

As a full time, non-exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements. This position may have to split their time between two sites as needed - Columbus Springs East and Columbus Springs Dublin. Columbus Springs East will be the home site.

About the facility:Columbus Springs East Hospital is a 48-bed, Joint Commission accredited, behavioral health hospital located in Columbus, OH, which provides include inpatient and outpatient services to adolescents and adults experiencing mental health and addiction challenges. Inpatient services are provided to adults 18 years and older, and outpatient services are provided to adolescents ages 12 on up, including adults. This includes partial hospitalization programs (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Columbus Springs East Hospital is part of Springstone Inc's. network of mental health facilities. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy:The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm. Pharmacy systems include HCS' ePharmacy.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
  • OhioLicensure/Registration/Certification requirements
  • Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
  • Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements: (may be required)

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer provingimmunity
  • Varicella -(2)documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
  • HepB3 Series(or declination)
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
  • COVID Vaccine
