Business Development Manager

Location: Hybrid (5% Remote and 95% Onsite Meetings with Potential Customers)

Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Annual Salary Range: $65,000 with potential productivity bonus.

Candidate must live within 50 to 75 miles of Maricopa County AZ

The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating sales of our Rural Metro Fire services to the local community.

Responsibilities:

  • The Business Development Managerwill generate leads for new business through actions such as:
    • Cold calling.
    • Utilizing customer referrals.
    • Community involvement.
    • Collaborating with leadership on marketing programs.
  • Participating in community networking events to draw in prospects.
  • Completing the full sales cycle from introduction and discovery to the needs analysis, proposal creation, closure, and ongoing follow up and management.
  • The Business Development Managerwill build a pipeline of Residential and Commercial customers sufficient to achieve sales and company goals/targets.
  • Closing smart business (consistent with Rural Metro Fire objectives and practices).
  • The Business Development Managerprovides updates to the Director of Business Development and Special Services on all projects.

Skills:

  • Proficient in a Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problems solving, change management and communication skills required.
  • Demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required. Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, Marketing, Healthcare or related field or a combination of education and experience preferred.
  • 2 -5 years of strategic planning and business development experience required.
  • 3 years previous B2C or B2B solutions sales experience,
  • Emergency medical transport industry knowledge,
  • Management and sales training courses/experience preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record
