JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:

This position supports the marketing department by completing daily tasks to keep the department operational and facilitates the duties of the advertising/marketing director.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages accounting process; provides marketing expense tracking and research information by collecting, analyzing, summarizing, and coding data.
  • Provides accounting support, including: forecasting, research, reporting, budget management for the marketing department and supported business units.
  • Organizes data and gathers information to initiate marketing projects in job management system and maintains the marketing program calendar.
  • Supports marketing operations by compiling, formatting, and reporting information and materials.
  • Schedules conferences and meetings for marketing, interdepartmental, and outside partner collaboration.
  • Maintains accurate archive of records in accordance with records retention policies.
  • Maintains marketing supplies by checking and replenishing inventory.
  • Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed.

None

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree with 6 to 9 hours of college level accounting preferred
  • Two years related accounting administrative experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
  • Previous experience in corporate environment
  • Preferably 1-4 years of experience in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent

ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
  • Ability to operate a keyboard if required to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 10 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division an "undue hardship" then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
