Vice President, Liberty Works Competitive Assessment and SSA Digital

Indianapolis, IN

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vice President, Liberty Works Competitive Assessment and SSA Digital Strategy, who will provide leadership and direction, to deliver the focused company strategy and product planning. This role will develop and maintain US DoD product competitive assessments and SSA digital strategies to close identified competitive gaps and meet current and future US DoD requirements.

The role will require broad industry experience with propulsion integration, competitive intelligence assessments through public information, digital technologies and DoD requirements, project management experience, with a focus on execution, risk management, collaboration across functional groups, governance, delivery of key milestones, and meeting all budget targets.

As Vice President, you will be responsible for working closely with cross functional teams and key stakeholders to plan, organize and execute the strategies and development programs to identify and close competitive gaps. Identifying funding sources to develop key digital technology programs, working with US DoD, and working with internal R&T personnel to achieve TRL6/MCRL4 for transition to US DoD products will be drivers for success in the role.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and drive a holistic technical project aligned with organization's product strategy
  • Lead stakeholder interface management and successful delivery of stakeholder requirements
  • Promote collaboration across the team and support functions to meet program goals
  • Build an HPC culture across a diverse and talented team
  • Ensure the US DoD SSA Digital Product Strategies are developed, approved, maintained, communicated, and executed to deliver differentiated capabilities to win new US DoD business
  • Ensure competitive gaps are identified, communicated and R&T programs are developed and prioritized on US DoD capability gap closure to increase competitiveness in line with required campaign timelines

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field and 8 years of experience supporting an engineering operation, OR;
  • Master's degree in an engineering field and 6 years of experience in supporting an engineering operation, OR;
  • JD/PhD in an engineering field and 3 years of experience in supporting an engineering operation.
  • To be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen

Preferred Requirements:

  • R&T development experience
  • Air framer experience
  • Aerospace experience
