We are looking for a Warranty Quality Technician.

The team is ready to act immediately on those candidates who are the best fit for the role. You'll first hear from someone in Talent Acquisition to schedule a phone screen, and then the next step will be a personal interview with our Hiring Manager.   • Process all part returns through the Monroe Quality Lab
  • Adhere to the Plant and Warranty Tear Down Process M0RC-00031
  • Inspect and document incoming all part returns within the system
  • Set-up test equipment and perform evaluations per internal and external specification requirements
  • Perform damper teardowns based on test results and customer or product engineering direction for root cause failure analysis
  • Collect, summarize, and communicate test data to business units, product engineering, quality, manufacturing and customers.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the warranty groups IATF16949 and ISO9001 certification and related procedures.
  • Maintain lab area, equipment and facilities.
  • Support and adhere to Tenneco EH&S policies and procedures.

Required Experience

EDUCATION: Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Materials Technology


  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in testing or automotive activities
  • Mechanical aptitude for test equipment and measurement operations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
  • Self-starter, self-directed and self-motivated
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team oriented
  • Must be able to work overtime if required
  • Adhere to Tenneco policies and procedures to promote safety and work quality
